Borough Offices Closed for Thanksgiving

Borough offices will be closing at 3 p.m. on November 22 and will be closed November 23 and November 24, 2023 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday.

231 Oak Hill Drive Demolition

The Borough has awarded a contract for the demolition of the Borough owned property at 231 Oak Hill Drive. Demolition is to start October 30, 2023 and expects to be substantially completed in November. This work will be done in preparation for the future construction of a new upgraded electrical distribution substation which will replace the existing outdated and aging substation nearby.

East Roosevelt Storm Sewers to Be Replaced

The Borough will be replacing storm sewers in the first block of East Roosevelt Avenue and the intersection of North Pine Street.  Construction will begin Monday, October 23, 2023 with an anticipated end date of November 10, 2023 and will be during the hours of 7 AM to 4 PM.
