Planned Electric Transmission Line Work MetEd (First Energy) plans to maintain their transmission lines to provide safe and reliable operations. They have contracted with a professional tree company to remove trees and vegetation in their right-of-ways. Change in Borough Office Hours – January 1, 2026 Effective January 1, 2026, the Finance Department will have new walk-in hours for in-person payment of utility bills and other services. The new hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Please note that other Borough departments and staff will still be available by phone or email beginning at 8:00am.
