Planned Electric Transmission Line Work

MetEd (First Energy) plans to maintain their transmission lines to provide safe and reliable operations.  They have contracted with a professional tree company to remove trees and vegetation in their right-of-ways.  As part of this plan, special symbols will be placed to identify trees needing trimmed or removed.  Pruning will involve manual tree crews or helicopters equipped with an aerial saw.  This work will begin in January and continue throughout the year.
