2022 Tax Rate

The 2022 Property Tax Rates will increase by 1.65 mils due to the inflation of fixed costs and a reduction in electric revenue transfer to the General Fund.  The reduction in the electric revenue transfer is necessary to invest in the replacement of the Spruce Street Electric Substation.

This brings the total millage rate to 10.161 for the 2022 tax year.

The 1.65 mil increase equates to an additional $1.65 tax on each $1,000 of assessed property value. By example, on a property assessed at $100,000 the increase will equate to an additional tax of $165/year or $13.75 per month.
