Due to the New Year’s Holiday, all Residential Penn Waste trash and recycling collections will be delayed one (1) day. Wednesday customers will be collected on Thursday. All collections on Monday and Tuesday will be collected on the regularly scheduled day.
Residents must place trash and recycling cans at the curb before 6:30 am on the day of pick up. (They can be put out after 5pm the night before)
Recycling must be in the Penn Waste Blue and Gold recycling cans. Residents can call Penn Waste to have one delivered if they do not have one. 717-767-4456 Cardboard can be bundled and placed alongside the recycling can for pick up or directly in the can. If no recycle can is out, cardboard will be taken as trash. Please get an updated recycle list at the Borough office or check Penn Waste’s website for recycle information. Do not place plastic bags or any trash in the recycling can.
