Our commitment

The Borough of Middletown is committed to ensuring that our website (middletownborough.com) is accessible to all residents, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard required under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Compliance status

We are currently in the process of reviewing and remediating our website and online documents to achieve full WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. Our target compliance date is April 26, 2027, in accordance with the U.S. Department of Justice’s ADA Title II final rule for state and local government web content.
