The Council of the Borough of Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, is seeking applicants for the following: Historic Restoration Commission, Planning Commission, Civil Service Commission and Zoning Hearing Board. An applicant must be a resident of the Borough of Middletown to be eligible for this position and appointment to the Commission would be made by Council in accordance with applicable law. TAX COLLECTOR NEEDED

Middletown Borough is looking for a Tax Collector to serve a term from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.  The Tax Collector collects, documents and reports all per capita, occupation and real estate taxes for residents within the Borough of Middletown.  The annual salary for the Tax Collector is $13,000.  The tax collector must be a registered voter and a resident for at least one year within the Borough and will be appointed by Borough Council.   This is an elected position with a new 4-year term beginning January 1, 2026. PUBLIC WORKS – PART-TIME

Middletown Borough, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania is looking for a part-time worker for the Public Works Department. General job responsibilities include various maintenance activities as well as performing other duties when needed under the direction of the Department Superintendent or his assigned representative. This is a non-exempt position of 28 hours per week and pays $18.83/hour. Finance Supervisor Needed

Middletown Borough, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania is looking for a full-time Finance Supervisor for the Finance Department.  General job responsibilities include the management of accounting functions, and perform a variety of tasks to include payroll, benefits, general ledger, accounts payable, banking and tax compliance; perform related administrative support tasks to assist with efficient processing of financial data.

This is an exempt position of 40 hours per week and pays $28.85/hour.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  The successful applicant must be able to use Word and MS Excel, as well as learn other computer systems.  Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check.
