Police make arrest in slashing incident
A man wanted for attacking an Elizabethtown man in a fight outside a Middletown BYOB club is behind bars after turning himself in to police.
Middletown Police say Troy L. Bradley, 41, of Harrisburg, surrendered Monday to face charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct. Bradley was arraigned in Dauphin County Night Court and is being held in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail, court documents state.
Bradley is accused of slashing Brett Burney, of the 5400 block of Bossler Road in Elizabethtown, with a razor blade during an early morning argument on June 27 outside of Club Essie, in the 300 block of Market Street in Middletown. Police said the incident began as a verbal argument.
Police were called to the scene and had just left when Bradley returned and attacked Burney, knocking him to the ground and kicking him in the head. Burney was taken to a local emergency room where he was treated for severe razor cuts to his left ear and the rear of the left side of his head and neck before being released.
Police said other witnesses came forward after seeing a posting about the incident on the Borough’s web site.
